The action is buttery smooth, with a bolt made by Beretta, and the buttstock is in good condition with moderate signs of use and wear, expected for a gun of its age. One side of the stock features dark spots. We theorize that these spots may be blood spatter.

An Italian Carcano M1891 Carbine chambered in 6.5 Carcano. This rifle was manufactured circa 1942 by FNA-Brecia (marked FNA-B). The rifle features a 18 inch barrel with sharp, reflective rifling. The stock is original, sharing matching numbers with the receiver and features a barely visible circular cartouche on the left side of the stock. Length of pull is 12.5 inches. The rifle displays discreet import marks on the left side of the receiver. Overall, this is a quality rifle for any collector of Italian arms.
